Write a letter to God, or the Universe or whomever your higher power is. You can mail it or just put it away, or even burn it, whatever you do with it is unimportant, it just matters that you write it. This is such a private way to express gratitude and it is quite empowering too. I felt as if I was directly connected when I wrote mine. I also felt less inhibited had I written it to a person, I felt free and could write what I really had to say. It felt amazing to speak my mind and my heart and to know that I was appreciating how full my life is of love and hope and faith. So get your pen, or your laptop and write a letter to God and Live An Inspired Life!

That's right folks... sometimes you just have to discharge those negative feelings that you have. We all get them and part of living An Inspired Life is to get them out and NOT live with them. Discharging negative feelings is very freeing and will make you feel so much better, like a load has been lifted off your shoulders! Even optimistic people like myself have feelings of anger, disappointment and sadness but the key is to let them out when you feel them and move forward to the joy, happiness and love that we as people truly are. Holding on to negativity is unhealthy and can manifest as physical problems too such as high blood pressure, anxiety and even cancer. So let yourself go.... tell your significant other to JUST LISTEN to you and let it all out... scream and shout, cry and complain and Live An Inspired Life!!!

With HGTV and thousands of decorating magazines and websites available, there is always plenty of inspiration out there to help you think of ways to spruce up your space! This week I am working on my new kitchen space; a little paint, some reorganizing and it will be just like a whole new space. Thad is hard at work building our new bedroom which in the end will look much like the picture above. It is fun to redecorate and to make things feel shiny and new! Take a look around your house today, which room could use some sprucing up? Have fun and Live An Inspired Life!

Kissing is so important to a relationship! It provides closeness and intimacy. Today have a make out session with your significant other, as a matter of fact this should be done all the time, everyday! Don't go one single day without kissing the person you love. Make out in the park, or in the grocery line, and don't forget to kiss one another at home. It is so healthy for kids to see their parents showing signs of affection and love toward each other! So grab your sweetie and pucker up and Live An Inspired Life!

Just say YES!! How often is "no" the automatic response? Take a risk, take a chance, just say yes to something out of the ordinary today! If the kids want to have ice cream before dinner, or your husband wants to go for a drive instead of cleaning house, or maybe a friend will call and ask you to coffee when you have a million other things you should be doing...... SAY YES!!!
Today, do something different, say YES to something that you would not normally consider and Live An Inspired Life!

Last night Thad and I were driving home with the kids and we pulled over to randomly run through a field (our special spot.) It was amazing! It was all Thad's idea, he obviously knew that I needed a state change and he was right there to turn me around! We ran through the field, danced in the rain and laughed! It was a great respite from my cranky mood. (Yes folks.... EVEN I get cranky sometimes!) Sometimes you just need to pull over, break your state, run through a field, laugh your head off and Live An Inspired Life!
*Thanks Thad for always knowing what I need... I love you*

Have an attitude of gratitude today and make a list of all that you are grateful for. Write it all down... everything.... grateful for loved ones, sunny days, the smell of vanilla, smiles, warm towels, fluffy socks, pets, etc.... don't leave anything out! Let this list remind you of all that you are grateful for and Live An Inspired Life!

We raised chickens from day old chicks when we lived in RI and we are ready to start again! Today I am going to my local farm store to order my chicks! I am getting 24 and splitting them with a teacher at the school where I work. We are also going to keep the chicks at the school in a classroom so the students can get involved.... well just until they have feathers and can live outside. ( I am allergic to the chickens, so having them in the house until feathered is a challenge. ) Raising chickens is an amazing experience for young and old, you will LOVE it! You do not have to live on a farm to own chickens, you can be a "backyard farmer" and just raise a few. They are very easy to care for and you get wonderful eggs in return!
So today, do some research, find out everything you need to know.... order your chickens and Live An Inspired Life!

Scrapbooking is alot of fun and a great way to preserve your memories! Today a co-worker brought in one of her scrapbooks and I was reminded how much fun scrapbooking can be! I think I will schedule a scrapbook and rubber stamping night for the girls! So today, share your scrapbook, or start one and Live An Inspired Life!
Thanks Dawn for the Inspiration!

What is your story? Are you saying "it's not my fault, I had a horrible childhood" or are you saying "I have overcome some hard challenges and I can do anything!" It is all about the story you tell yourself! Listen to your own story when you are speaking, are you focusing on the negative or the positive, are you a "can-do" person or an "I can't" person?
Focus on the things you CAN do, the beautiful things, the things you are grateful for and Live An Inspired Life!

An Inspired Life requires alot of energy which requires alot of rest! Make sure to get enough rest each and every day or night. I personally like to get 6-8 hours per night but everyone is different. Sleep deprivation causes a great deal of harm both to your body and mind so be sure to get enough rest each and every night and enjoy your Inspired Life!

I spent most of this weekend in the woods with Thad, we were helping Thad's "parents" chop down trees so they will have fire wood next winter. We were out there for hours and it was so amazingly serene and peaceful. I spent some time sitting on a fallen log and reflecting and some time just walking through gazing at nature and all of its splendor. Between the sound of the chainsaw, I could hear a creek washing away signs of winter and leaves rustling beneath the tiny feet of woodland creatures. It was very inspiring to be out in the middle of nowhere and getting in touch with nature. So today, take a walk through the woods and Live An Inspired Life!
