All major religions teach that giving is a virtuous act and that we should give without expecting recognition or reward. Donate, volunteer or drop off some goods to a homeless family and do not tell anyone that you did it. Let it be your little secret with the Universe. When you help out and announce it for all the world to see, or try and hold others accountable to see what they have done, you are merely serving your ego. Give in secret with a pure heart dedicated to love and compassion and Live An Inspired Life!Matt. 6:1-4 “Be careful not to do your ‘acts of righteousness’ before men, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven."
